This one's a little weird: the artist gave it to me because I bought her full length (The Death of Patience) before her show started, since I'm a lame/huge fan or I had to leave early or something like that. Anyway, it's a little minidisc CD-R dealie, the case it came in was hand-sewn together, and it's just one track. But it's fun, so check it out.

Once again, used. Once again, kinda crackly. But once again, a pretty fucking interesting album. Kinda almost meets at the mid-way point for both of these artists, so don't expect harsh feedback noise from Prurient and don't expect synthwave dance floor pop from Cold Cave. Definitely worth a listen though; although I still cannot believe that Cold Cave was the frontman for Some Girls.

Word of warning: I bought this vinyl at a discount because it's (very) used, so there's a lot of clicks and pops. It can be kind of annoying with headphones, but throw this on some nicer speakers at a good volume and the clicks and pops almost add to the atmosphere of this droned-out piece. Plus, the album art by Robert Beatty (of Hair Police and Three Legged Race) was reason enough to throw down six bucks on this bad boy. Here's the back cover:

Wyoming - Cool Menthol Breeze

Wyoming is an acoustic guitars and double bass duo from Chicago. I traded their guitarist Ryley a cigarette for this tape at Neon Marshmallow Festival in August. Good stuff; acoustic-psychotic dabblings. Once again, no album art. Once again, I'll get to it when I feel like fighting with my scanner. Temporary album art is of their bassist Andrew Scott Young at a show a few weeks back.
